The Gentlemen Season 2
Netflix renewed The Gentlemen for Season 3, announced as Season 2 launches September 3, 2026.
iPhone 18 Pro Max
Apple sent out official event invitations for Wednesday, September 9 at 10 AM PT. The announcement is now confirmed; on-sale date expected September 18.
Blue Lock Season 3
The season's official title, "Neo Egoist League," and a new teaser visual were revealed, confirming the October 9, 2026 premiere with studio 8bit returning.
Grand Theft Auto 6
Rockstar is putting out an extended look at the game on August 27 — Netflix first, then the Rockstar YouTube channel later the same day. The November 19 release date is unchanged.
Avengers: Doomsday
A second trailer landed at D23, with Sue Storm warning the heroes about Doom and Thor getting swatted aside again. Professor X and Magneto are in it too, played by their original X-Men actors. Still locked for December 18.
The One Piece
New key art dropped, framed as a homage to the manga's very first chapter. February 2027 hasn't moved.
God of War Laufey
It's got a date: February 16, 2027, on PS5. Santa Monica also teased that the next Kratos game picks up from Laufey's story.
Delicious in Dungeon Season 2
At Anime Expo 2026, Studio Trigger locked in October 2027 and revealed the production team: director Yoshihiro Miyajima, writer Kimiko Ueno, character designer Naoki Takeda, and composer Yasunori Mitsuda.
Ghost Rider (2028)
Disney gave Ghost Rider a real date at D23: July 28, 2028. Ryan Gosling still stars, with Shawn Levy directing.
Black Myth: Zhong Kui
Game Science put out 15 minutes of gameplay — the first real look at Zhong Kui fighting, plus a slice of the story. Still no release date, and the footage is from a work-in-progress build.
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus
A new "Super Gekitou" trailer dropped, ending on Frieza — so the run goes past Beerus and into the Golden Frieza arc. Still just a Fall 2026 window, no date.
Kaiju No. 8 Season 3
"Narumi's Week at Work" spin-off premieres September 5, 2026 on Crunchyroll, four episodes airing weekly. The Final Chapter release date is still unannounced.
Pluribus Season 2
The writers have finished breaking every episode of season 2, and filming is targeted to start in fall 2026.
PlayStation 6
Sony's CEO said the launch timing and price of the next console still aren't decided, pointing at memory prices that are expected to stay high through FY2027.
The Last of Us Season 3
Filming is on track to wrap November 27, 2026, still shooting across British Columbia.
Ted Lasso Season 4
It's here. The first episode is on Apple TV+ now, with Ted taking over a women's team, and the rest arrive weekly through the October 7 finale.
Severance Season 3
Cameras are finally rolling. Kogonada (the director behind Pachinko) has taken over from Ben Stiller (Zoolander), who stays on as executive producer. Adam Scott (Mark) says they're aiming to turn this one around much faster than the three-year wait for Season 2.
Peacemaker Season 3
At the Saturn Awards, Jennifer Holland said Season 3's future hinges on other DCU projects happening first — the character will return, but maybe not in a third season as we know it.
Vinland Saga Season 3
Still nothing official. Creator Makoto Yukimura shot down the rumors that Season 3 was in production, saying no one had told him anything about it — the claim traces back to an old interview being misread.
Demon Slayer Season 5
Infinity Castle Part 1 starts streaming worldwide on Crunchyroll (and Netflix across most of Asia) on July 28. Part 2 won't make it out in 2026 though — now looking at 2027 at the earliest.
Invincible Season 5
Jack Quaid (Hughie from The Boys) is joining Season 5 as Gravitator, a reformed thief-turned-hero. Season 6 got confirmed in the same breath.
Solo Leveling Season 3
A new movie, "Solo Leveling: Beyond the System," just got announced — it picks up right after Season 2. It's a bridge project, not a replacement for Season 3, and it doesn't have a date yet either.
Stranger Things Season 6
Paramount dated the Duffer Brothers' first movie for November 3, 2028 — that's still their main focus over the Stranger Things spin-off for now.
The Penguin Season 2
Insider Jeff Sneider reports HBO and DC have decided against a second season — it's staying a limited series. Nothing official from HBO/DC yet, but it walks back the hope from that earlier WGA listing.
Wednesday Season 3
Eva Green was hospitalized after a nasty leg injury on set in Dublin — no broken bones, and she's recovering well. Filming paused briefly but is back on track.
Bridgerton Season 5
Netflix confirmed Season 5 will arrive in 2027 — the first time two Bridgerton seasons land in consecutive years. Filming began outside London in early 2026 and runs through early fall.
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2
Season 2 wrapped on March 27, 2026, completing a 10-episode run on Crunchyroll from studio Madhouse.
House of the Dragon Season 3
Season 3 premiered on HBO and HBO Max on June 21, 2026; its eight episodes roll out weekly on Sundays, with the finale set for August 9.
Invincible Season 4
Season 4 finished its run on April 22, 2026. Its eight episodes adapted "The Viltrumite War," after the first three dropped together on March 18 and the rest went weekly.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3
Season 3 premiered on July 4, 2026, and is streaming weekly on Crunchyroll, with Studio Bind returning to animate the next chapter of Rudeus's journey.
My Hero Academia Season 8
A bonus TV special titled "More," adapting the manga's final chapter (431), premiered on May 2, 2026, closing out the anime for good.
Dandadan Season 3
The December key visual finally pinned Season 3 to 2027 — an official window, though still a year rather than a date. Science SARU is back to animate it, and the story picks up straight out of the Kaiju arc and into the Space Globalists arc.
